Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and compare the marginal integrity and color stability of resin based composite restorations in posterior teeth using bulk-fill and incremental layering techniques. Twenty-four extracted human molars were restored using two techniques and subjected to thermocycling, staining, and microleakage tests. Results indicated that incremental layering exhibited superior marginal adaptation, while bulk-fill composites showed better color stability under staining conditions. The findings highlight technique-specific advantages, which can inform clinicians' decisions regarding restorative procedures in posterior teeth.
