Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) represent a major public health concern worldwide, contributing significantly to disability, reduced quality of life, and economic burden. Effective prevention, accurate diagnosis, and timely treatment are essential to managing these disorders and reducing their impact on individuals and healthcare systems. This paper explores the role of manual therapy, exercise therapy, and pain management in addressing MSDs. It reviews existing literature before 2019 to establish a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms, effectiveness, and integrated approaches for managing MSDs. Findings suggest that a multidisciplinary strategy combining manual and exercise-based therapies with targeted pain management can significantly improve patient outcomes.
