Abstract

Chronic pain management remains a significant challenge in healthcare, with substantial implications for patient-reported outcomes (PROs) and healthcare resource utilization (HCRU). This study leverages real-world data (RWD) integration to analyze the relationship between PROs and HCRU in chronic pain patients. By examining data from electronic health records (EHRs), patient surveys, and claims databases, we identify key trends in pain management strategies, patient satisfaction, and resource allocation. Our findings highlight the importance of personalized pain management approaches in improving PROs while optimizing HCRU. This research underscores the potential of RWD to inform evidence-based practices and policy decisions in chronic pain care.
